A Bit About Carra Beag Guest House

The bedrooms and public areas at Carra Beag all reflect the charm of the Victorian era in which the house built. We have made every effort to retain many of the houses original features and tried to enhance its character with period furniture and fittings.

All eight of our Guest Bedrooms are uniquely designed and styled to reflect the character of the building. As you can imagine in a house of this vintage the rooms do vary in size and shape and are located on the first and second floor of the house.

All the rooms however have the same amenities available for your comfort and convenience. Our lovely 4 Poster room boasts a King size bed, whilst all the standard Double rooms are likewise equipped with either King or Super King size beds.

Each room is equipped with an ensuite bathroom, with walk in showers, (one has a large corner bath and hand shower), complimentary tea, coffee & hot chocolate making facilities, TV and electric blankets. The house is centrally heated throughout.

In addition you are encouraged to make use of the Lounge room. It is a lovely place to relax in at any time of the year. In the summer the sun streams through the bay window. On cooler evenings we light the coal fire to warm and cheer our guests.

We have retained the original lounge as a place where our guests can meet and congregate at any time of day. It is a great place to socialize, browse the well stocked book shelves, play a musical instrument, including our lovely old Victorian piano, dig out a game or simply chill out. 24/7 wifi is also available in Lounge.

The Guest House also benefits from a large car park and garden. Cars may be parked in knowledge that the vehicles are safe and secure at all times.

During the summer it is a delight to relax in the garden in one of the many outdoor seating areas.
